A Rhode Island Weekend

An August weekend to kiss Summer 2025's upcoming conclusion! I had a lovely trip to Rhode Island to visit a high school friend, my senior year prom date, and it felt like slipping into a New England Dream. Victorian Houses...it was as if I walked into the Practical Magic movie set. And funny enough, my friend shared that the Walgreens in Providence was used in Hocus Pocus 2. I am ready for Fall 2025!

It was a trio of us from our Long Island high school days that gathered together. My friend and I that still are on Long Island decided that we wanted to visit our other friend who has made her travels to Rhode Island and she now lives with her partner in a cozy, beautiful shorefront home. We all found the perfect date in August and bam! Scheduled!
This isn't a tale of PSYCHISM...although I did share some impressions that gathered around my L.I. Buddy as we were waiting to board the ferry back to L.I. This is an entry anchored in the Heart.
I think the last time I went to Rhode Island was back in the early 00s when my oldest sister graduated from college. Years later, I ended up reading a client who went to the same college as my sister so I thought that was funny. You'd think that Rhode Island would be very similar to Long Island, but it was very different!
We traveled about 30 minutes or so west of Providence to a cute, little town. Passing Victorian Homes and the entire landscape really reminded me of San Francisco, but a flat version of San Francisco.
Witch Houses galore! It is my dream to live in an old Victorian style home.
I keep in touch with these two friends because they are the perfect examples of additions and enhancements to my life and vice-versa. We support one another. We honor one another. There's no drama, no conflict. Our relationships are just easy, flowing, and seamless.

I'm incredibly proud of the two of them. They continued on their journeys despite the XYZ challenges. They never lost their spark. They renegaded against the Noise of the outer world while excavating their inner world so they could persevere.
They both honor me, who I am, and support my journey. Also...they are very nurturing and supportive concerning my skills, my practice, and my own adventure sharing my talents with others.
My friend's partner is excellent, a treat and joy to be around, and is the perfect companion. They created a life together that warms my heart and is reflected in the decor of their shore-cottage!
We walked around their small town, ventured to the beach (which looks very similar to the L.I. sound), made our way to my friend's work to see a hawk and two owls, ate at a delicious vegan restaurant, and found our way to Providence.
Side note...I remember there was a late 90s tv show called Providence which my mom loved!
It was definitely hot outside...Summer 2025 wanted to really end her days with a heat wave...so we were all ready to sleep. We bid our farewells and the two of us drove back to New London, CT to catch the ferry.

I can't remember the last time I took an evening ferry. Thankfully, the predicted rain decided to not show up so we got to sit outside and soak in the evening air blowing across the Long Island Sound.
A weekend trip that pushes all the Love buttons.
I remember my last reading with "my psychic" that I go to annually. She brought my mother through and my mom mentioned a small, weekend trip and this trip was what my mom spoke about. This definitely adds more weight to the other predictions delivered in the reading.
Rhode Island and Long Island. Three friends. Magic!
