Are Psychic Readings Illuminating or Intimidating?

It is Saturday morning and I was in the middle of my Saturday chores when the Muse popped a new entry into my Mind Tool! I am inspired to explain more about Psychic Readings as a companion to the PSI Mechanics series.

Psychic Readings are anchored in the intention to provide clients with Information. Information is Neutral and our human, emotional reactions/responses to the information are what filter the Information into duality…good/bad & positive/negative. However, a real practitioner who is intrinsically motivated to assist clients in service will compassionately deliver Information while providing avenues for clients to navigate the ebbs and flows of Life.

Reviewing my website…there is a large amount of information to read and to digest. You may find yourself met with intimidation especially if this work is new to you. I put a lot of effort into my website to explain the basics of PSI so my clients have the foundation of knowledge to use the Tool of a Reading effectively. I’m also very interested in PSI so my passion for this work and my love for writing are woven throughout my website.

You may have read my metaphor relating Readings to a Board Game. This Board Game is not difficult. My website is the manual to this Board Game that is written for a person to understand this work who has never been exposed to the Reality of PSI and the Tool of Readings. Do you need to read the manual to your favorite board game over and over again? Probably not. You understand the board game, how to play, what the rules are, and you repeatedly play the board game because you enjoy it.

Psychic Readings are both Illuminating and Intimidating. I’ll write about this throughout the entry. Just because it may be Intimidating does not mean that it should be colored with the “bad” or “negative” lens. Information is Neutral. The Psychic does not judge nor edit the Information and the Psychic should deliver the Information in a way that a client can understand without being plagued by Fear.

Life is a Jungle, right? We have many things thrown at us and it is our responses to Life’s Events which determine our path. I do not recommend Psychic Readings to anyone who is severely anxious nor to anyone who has not developed healthy coping mechanisms and strategies to handle Life’s Events. Not everyday is of sunshine and rainbows. There are thunderstorms, hurricanes, and XYZ. Order and Chaos. Ebbs and Flows. Ups and Downs. The Wheel of Life. We are met with great challenges in Life and a Psychic Reading can assist with preparing, navigating, and responding to our greatest challenges.

Illuminations

Psychic Readings are a Guidepost; Lighthouse; Radar. They are meant to help people traverse through Life by providing glimpses, forewarnings, inspiration, and direction.

I would equate Information to be Light since Information is to Illuminate. The Light is to enhance a client’s life by providing Information to enrich a client’s experience in Life. Psychics, who are aligned with personal ethics-integrity-grace, desire to help their clients which means they are to receive Information a client can handle psychologically, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Intentions bound to Service.

Predicting Death is rarely a part of a Psychic’s Reading. Most psychics I know do not want to receive that information and many psychics set boundaries due to personal experience.

There are events in our experiences which are unavoidable. Having an “Omen” delivered in a reading is to help a client be protected, prepare, or even change course. There are also unavoidable events that occur in a client’s life which a psychic does not receive information about and this may be due to aspects of Higher Mind, Divinity, Spirit, XYZ…the client is not meant to have the forewarning.

Illumination of potentials, probabilities, and information not known to a client. I speak about this often about how psychics are not telepaths and there will be information delivered in a reading that a client cannot validate. Therefore, clients are to embark on a Clue Discovery journey to do research, act on the Breadcrumbs, and/or wait to see how something may manifest.

Psychic Readings provide Clues. You can’t go into a reading expecting a psychic to tell you every moment of your life from the past and present or into the future. Psychics receive glimpses and fragments depending on the energy of the reading, the client’s questions/intentions, and what Higher Mind allows.

 You want to receive a psychic reading for the Clues. These are Breadcrumbs on a Map. Possibilities, Probabilities.

Psychics Illuminate the energy momentum that you are brewing…what energy you are bringing into the reading and the opportunities that may evolve if you continue that energy’s trajectory and/or you choose to modify your thought-emotion-action loops to change course. A psychic reading can help you see what may occur if XYZ continues or if you choose to move toward ABC.

You take the information that you receive and you contemplate…you reflect…you research…you review with qualified, credentialed professionals…you act on inspiration.

Intimidation

I sometimes feel intimidated to get a psychic reading. This is because I’m anxious or excited about the experience. Anxious or excited about the answers to my questions. Intimidated by allowing a stranger to dip into my energy field.

A professional psychic understands his/her skills and how he/she can help. The psychic also understands that every client is on their own journey and they are being very vulnerable in a reading. Ideally…you go to someone who acknowledges the human experience and is compassionate.

Do you really want a question answered? Do you really want the psychic to look into the energy of a topic?

You want to make sure you’re ready to receive the information that a psychic provides. You have to be open to receiving an answer that may not align with your fantasy, illusion, hope, or fear. An authentic practitioner will not withhold the information nor will the psychic deliver the information frighteningly.

Do you really want to know?

I think being somewhat afraid of a reading can be a natural response to the Unknown. It just is that if you’re terrified or blanketed by an overwhelming amount of fear than you should not receive a psychic reading. You want to be Neutral.

You get a psychic reading because you have a need and a desire which means you are prepared to maybe receive an answer that you do not like. That doesn’t make the reading “bad” or “negative” so really ensure you are not stuck to the sanitized, lackluster “readings” parading social media.

A psychic is not supposed to tell you what you want to hear. A psychic is supposed to be non-judgmental and speak the information that is received without editing.

Sometimes a client may be brand new to this subject and never experienced a psychic reading. This can be intimidating for sure especially concerning how this work may challenge belief systems. You should choose to pursue this experience based upon your intrinsic motivation. I do not recommend anyone getting a psychic reading unless there is clear intentions and it is of a client’s own volition.

Prepare your questions and anchor your intentions. This will guide the energetics of the psychic reading and help the psychic receive more detailed information. A psychic wants to discuss what you want to be reviewed while also providing you with information that streams “unexpectedly”.

I recommend you find a psychic that you feel drawn to rather than going to someone you may feel like you have to because of recommendations, social media likes, reviews, and the like. This is a very personal experience and you should have a foundation of trust in the psychic.

Psychic Readings are both Illuminating and Intimidating due to various reasons. This is just Neutral because Information is Neutral. Prepare for the psychic reading…Desire the psychic reading…Be Open to the experience. There’s no need to be in fear as long as you understand what a real psychic reading is and how it can help you.
