Yes. A Resounding and Absolute declaration that Psychic and Mediums are certainly Real.
The idea for this blog entry streamed through my Mind Tool this morning as I was drinking coffee and preparing to go to the gym. My morning walk was all about tunes bumping through my headphones and details of this entry swirling my mind.
Let me be clear...I'm writing to you as a practitioner of the Sacred Intuitive Arts. I developed my Psychic and Mediumistic skills to the point where I share them with those who schedule readings with me to provide them a service and to become a Tool for them. I cannot help but to write from my perspective and my work. I won't be sharing with you studies. I won't be listing all the "experts" and "authorities" and "influencers" for you to refer to.
Choosing to explore Psychic Phenomena is a personal decision that will lead you on a journey to ultimately discover more of Self since any authentic psychic and medium are just a reflection of your own Intuitive Instrument - your own psychic and mediumistic skills housed within your being. These skills are a part of the human species and we use these skills everyday, but in various forms.
I think it is wise to acknowledge Confirmation Bias. If you're looking for information through all types of media to confirm to you that psychics and mediums are not real then you will absolutely find them. Videos upon articles upon scriptures upon authorities and much more ready to deliver to you that which will confirm your thought-constructs (beliefs) that all psychics and mediums are fake. You'll find the "Psychic Fails" videos littered throughout YouTube. You'll find cynical "scientists" ready to exclaim the foolishness to believe in psychic phenomena. I could go on and on.
Attempting to find genuine, untainted information concerning psychics and mediums will be a research project for you and I know that you will come across the information which is not tethered to an organization/sponsor that benefits from society continuing to discredit psychics and mediums. Look at our current food industry and how all the "Big Food" Corporations and Pharmaceutical Companies who influence dietary guidelines to ensure their profits are kept flourishing in excess.
You really need to become a researcher while also allowing your Logic Mind to absorb new information and...ultimately...be ready to challenge your beliefs, perceptions, and conditioning.
I never had an issue with believing in psychic phenomena. It was a part of my childhood and family. I understand that many people were raised in households and cultures that extinguish any potential for psychic discussions to occur without automatically condemning them to hell whether that hell is a part of a religious construct or science's garbage bin.
Challenging beliefs can feel like someone is stabbing you. You're gutted. Defense mechanisms quickly take hold of the mind-body. Triggers run amok. I've actually been at the mercy of this which is why I never discuss my work unless it is with friends, family, and clients (and my blog). It just is what it is so you won't find me trying to convert skeptics. I don't have any desire to win over people. I don't have a scoreboard depicting every skeptic I converted to "my side". I couldn't care less about unhealthy skeptics and trying to reach people so they can "see the Light". My job is to only work with people who want my help.
My Direct Experience taught me that I am able to retrieve psychic information and receive mediumistic information. My Healthy Logic Mind absorbs all of the data from my readings and recognizes and acknowledges patterns. 1 + 1 = 2. All authentic psychics and mediums have a Healthy Logic Mind and it requires a lot of courage to do this work in a world that wishes to...delete you from existence.
There are some organizations that do study psychics and mediums. There are more organizations, "influences", "talking-heads", and "authority figures" in charge of counteracting the studies and the great work of psychics and mediums. It just is what it is and trying to fight that is...a long, uphill battle that I realized is foolish to spend time on journeying in this lifetime.
Funding for psychic phenomena research is very limited. So...as you hopefully know that research funding is spent elsewhere. I recommend you find information about the Windbridge Research Institute.
To convince you that psychics and mediums are real may also be an uphill battle that is... a lost cause. I'm not going to release transcripts from my readings. I'm not going to detail to you every bit of information. Readings are extremely confidential and I respect my clients (and myself) too much to provide specifics just so I could "convert a skeptic". I mostly operate from word-of-mouth referrals, but I do find some clients coming to me without a referral which is a pleasant surprise!
I think it is more difficult than ever before for people to learn about authentic psychics and mediums due to social media and YouTube. Some may disagree with me, but the internet is littered with "psychics" and "mediums". It has become a fad and a phase. Ultimately, the authentic psychic and medium has to be in Self, do the good work, and combat the space-operas, the galaxy 69 being channeling, the lack of evidential information, the all around bastardization of the Sacred Intuitive Arts.
On your journey to answer your question if psychics and mediums are real will most likely lead you to a person who is a con-artist. To a person who capitalizes on the ignorance of paying customers. To a person who does "readings" because it is popular. To a person who may even believe that he/she is authentic, but the "readings" lack any evidential information. There are "bad cops" in every field. This field is just like any other trade.
There are only a few organizations that provide testing for mediums with a criteria and scoring to look at statistical significance. I did one of them and I'm listed on the website (which I'm incredibly grateful for). However, an authentic psychic and medium doesn't require this because sometimes the testing doesn't work out. The practitioner may be nervous being tested which interferres in the work. The practitioner may actually be guided to move in another direction so the readings are not up to a specific standard. There are many factors.
Are Psychics and Mediums Real?
Yes. Your journey to answer that question will be incredibly personal and this journey will require you to look into Self, examine Self, question Self, and to realize your own Intuitive Instrument.
