I finally finished The Crescent Moon Tearoom this morning after having the book since April 13th 2025. The book was cute. The writing was okay. What I really took from it was the Synchronicity Factor. I felt inspired to pull a book off my desk which I've had for years and used it as a monitor's stand...Under The Dome.

I'm a huge fan of Stephen King's books. IT is my favorite novel next to The Order of the Phoenix! My Fall 2024 read of Cujo sparked a Halloween season of reading where I read many witch-themed books with my favorite being The Witches of New York. I'm sure I have many entries sprinkled throughout my blog discussing those books.
Pet Semetary...'Salem's Lot...Carrie...The Institute...all my favorite King books that I've read so far.
I had Under The Dome for a long time, but I never had the urge to pick it up for a read. I can't even recall when I received this book and there isn't a receipt tucked away in the book. The origins will forever remain a mystery!
*I'm going to go into some spoilers for The Crescent Moon Tearoom so be warned!
This book...I really like the idea of it. 3 sisters, triplets, who run a tea shop where they serve tea and read the tea leaves for clients. Divination! Witches! On paper...sounds fantastic. But the story and the writing just was a little too...lackluster. I felt like the writing had too many run-on sentences and the author could've used a thesaurus along with more ways to use the magic of literary flavors to spice up the reading experience.
The Synchronicity of it all was the journey I had with this book since 4/13/25. The download to raise my readings' prices and shift around some of my services. The journey into feeling more confident in who I am as a practitioner and a deeper appreciation of my practice. The start of OP HEALTHBOD and my return to a plant-based diet which absolutely increases and enhances my psychic and mediumistic skills along with just my overall energy levels. The readings that I did within the last 2 months.
This book also reminded me of the Divination Arts and how much I love them and the tools! Tarot Cards will forever be my number one favorite Divination Tool, but I do like some of the others! The classic. I used to read tea leaves too! The book made me remember that ANYTHING could be used as a Divination Tool. The sister witches had to try out various Divination methods to work on specific cases throughout the book so I was just feeling the joy for the Craft.
One of the sisters has a stronger talent for PSYCHISM and she had to go throughout the book with awakening to her talents getting stronger. To accept her journey and ultimately accept the position as the city's Diviner. A role that required the Diviner to have exceptional PSYCHISM talents so the witches of Chicago could be more protected. Man...I wish the book was a bit more adult and even more darker so there could've eventually been an aspect of the book where the witches were hunt down by witch hunters and the Diviner would be extremely important for the well-being of Chicago's witches. Oh well.
This book came into my life right when it was supposed to. It even made me crave to experience more reading of books that sparks all of my sensors in what I find most enjoyable from reading. I always say that we use our Psychic senses when we read since the experiences of the words on a page translating into our Mind Tool is very very similar to what happens to me when I read for someone.
A reminder of my love for reading, Divination, and to be even more committed to my practice.
So now I'm going to have to see where Higher Mind leads me with the Breadcrumbs that fall in front of me on my path.
What Synchronistic experiences will occur when I read Under The Dome? I shall find out!
