A delicious cup of coffee, my second this morning, and I am met with the writing muse as I ease into this Valentine's Day morning.
I like to speak to you in a way that can bring you into the understanding that psychic and mediumistic work, the Intuitive Instrument/Muscle, is as real as any other human skill/trade and that it the real work is not a "Costume". You would never know that I was a psychic medium if you ran into me on the street or even in a reading. The Real Work of PSYCHISM isn't flashy, sensationalized, culty, nor an exalted state of being from galaxy 69....the Real Work of PSYCHISM is of energy, magnetics, and non-physical sensory inputs/outputs.
I hope you can hear, see, feel, touch my Passion for this work. I have helped many people using these skills and I witnessed, with Direct Experience, the wonderful nature of PSYCHISM. I may use some strong words, and some spicy language, and it is all due to the Reality of these Skills divorced from Stereotypes. It is a beautiful Art and the Intuitive Instrument is a genuine aspect of the human species. It isn't just a "job", it is my life.
I think my biggest enemy in this world concerning my practice/field is the "Costume", the presentation of what a "psychic medium" should be like, and the misunderstanding/ignorance of psychic and mediumistic skills. But I get it! The world is not crafted to support the validity of these skills, there's no concrete "textbook", and I could go down a whole list of XYZ.
The Direct Experience I have stored in my memory banks regarding the in-real-life readings with real-life people is just something that can never be taught through a psychic development program, YouTube video, nor from a book.
I acknowledge that my fees are not cheap, but the price of a reading reflects my knowledge, direct experience, and understanding of these skills....the Intuitive Instrument.
My fees are not to present me as an Authority, a Spiritual Teacher, an Enlightened Being, or any of the Guru-New Agey-Lunacy parading the internet and many "spiritual centers". Its just like...I have a skill, years of experience, and knowledge so this is why I charge XYZ for a reading.
Lord, don't get me started on Reality Television and Television Mediumship. That's another huge enemy. I feel like I shouldn't have to explain this...but you do know that those shows are heavily edited, cut and stitched together different segments, and above all else...they are making a television show. This is not an Accurate Representation of the Reality of Genuine Mediumship. I'm actually a huge fan of some reality television shows, the Real Housewives franchise, and I understand what production does and all that which make up "reality television".
(Also, NOTE, this is not an entry for me to vent (sorta), but it is to describe what creates the 'Costume' and Fake Identity of "Psychics and Mediums" which ultimately hinder my work's ability to help people who are not willing to do their research, read my website, and do the necessary preparatory work for a reading.)
I try to drill into my clients the reality of the psychic arts so they can understand their own Intuitive Instrument - the psychic muscle that is waiting for them to develop, strengthen, and explore. I am no different than any person.
This is a Trade. My mother was a hair stylist and so I find so many similarities in my work through other Trades.
I write everywhere on my website how Honesty is the Best Policy. I cannot read everyone the same and sometimes sessions, on rare occassions, are not up to my standards which is why I have my refund policy. There were a handful of readings in 2024 that were not up to my standards. I quickly recognized this, usually within the first 15 minutes of a reading, and I just honestly express to my client how the session is "off" and so I'm giving you your money back. Every client that I said this to Respected me and they could hear, feel, touch, and see my Passion and Integrity revolving around this work.
To some people, especially in my days of restaurant readings and psychic fairs, I am not a 'psychic'. Their readings were off due to XYZ. However, I still am a psychic medium. The Reality of this work illuminates the variances between readings, the energy connections, and the magnetic circuitry. I'm sure you've been to hair stylists and did not like the stylists work. That doesn't mean that the stylist isn't a stylist. It just means that that particular session and what not was not to your liking and so you move on to the next stylist to assist you with your hair needs.
Every genuine psychic medium that I connect with is just a 'regular' person. I hate using the term 'regular', but this title helps you to perceive them as just a 'normal' person with a particular skillset. These people I connect with are not in it for the 'Costume', the likes and clicks, nor the Sensationalism. They want to help people using the skills they cultivated for years and years.
It is the Direct Experience from readings which taught me about psychic and mediumistic mechanics.
I know what it is like when I am connecting very well with a client. There are many more "Yes" responses to my impressions than the "No" responses. There are details that are revealed to my client post-reading. This is my standard. This is the guideline that I follow and I will not accept money from someone nor waste his/her time if the standard guideline is not met.
I think it actually is important for me to do these "mini-rants". It helps you, reader, to see how this work is not of a 'supernatural nature' nor a Marvel Superhero depiction.
This work is of the Human and readings are just a Mirror for a client's own Intuitive Potential.
I store every reading that I've done in a professional setting on my external harddrive and I print out the transcripts. This Documentation is so crucial for me and I also just like to have the Evidence in my home. It is so interesting and fascinating! Binders of transcripts and many files on my external harddrives all comprised of real interactions with people using these psychic and mediumistic skills.
You deserve to receive a real reading from a real practitioner.
My certification for Find A Certified Medium only means that those 5 double-blind sessions were successful. I had a great connection between those sitters and their loved ones in spirit. It just worked out well. Now...if the clients I refunded in 2024 were the sitters and those specific readings were used in the process then I would not have received the certification. I am forever grateful for that testing process, but I do not let that go to my head and inflate my ego. Those 5 readings were simply just successful readings that were accurate enough to abide by the standards of the testing's scoring rubric.
Once you realize that psychic and mediumsitic work is just like any other skill then you can understand more of your own psychic and mediumistic potential. You can have your own Direct Experience with PSI and how it applies to your own life.
You are a psychic and mediumistic being. You don't need to dawn the 'Costume'. You don't need to join a 'spiritual center' nor meditate 24 hours a day. You don't need to follow what is trendy.
You just need to learn how to discern between the thoughts you receive and the thoughts you manufacture along with understanding the mechanics of the Claires while also doing the great human homework so you can clear the trauma in your body which will help you perceive the psychic, intuitive insights more clearly and directly apply them to your life.
