June 2025! New Doors, New Pathways, & Piano

Tomorrow begins June 2025! As I always do, a monthly tradition, I crafted a new calender to post on my refrigerator. I usually make a post detailing this monthly tradition and this craft is my favorite! A homemade calendar. Bringing out my markers. Mapping out the grid of a new month. Simple. Efficient. A Blessing for the new month!

0 The Fool. Opening of New Doors and New Pathways. I have intentions for this month and I even created a blessing to honor this new chapter. I crafted a writing and I have candles burning as I type this entry.

The Beginning. The Wanderer walking new paths through new doors.

A Surrender to the Divine and to walk with an intention to serve Higher Mind along with aligning myself to my Path of Highest Good.

I cannot recommend this monthly tradition enough! Sure, purchasing a calendar is easy...but crafting your own is, in my opinion, the best! Channeling your energy into the new month and the new doors and the new pathways that lay before you. Focusing on your intentions and to understand that Divine Will will triumph overall since..Higher Mind knows you best and what will be best for you.

May 2025 was the conclusion of Piano Lessons. It was a difficult decision, but I felt like it was best for me to discontinue piano lessons. My teacher was/is amazing! My cancellation is not a reflection of him and his teaching. The studio decided to raise the prices and I felt like it would be better suited for me to use that money elsewhere...to put the money toward my intentions housed within the remainder of 2025 and into 2026.

It was sad to make this decision and then letting my piano teacher know. He was kind and understanding, but it still stings my heart to stop lessons which I began in January 2024.

I learned so much in lessons and in my own practicing. I really did maintain my practice schedule and modifying when I needed to. 5 Days a week for 30 minutes each of those days. I made my monthly Piano Practice Calendars which I have all stored in my music binder.

I learned how much music, sheet music, music theory mirrors and is a reflection of PSI Mechanics. I surprised myself at how much I loved to practice and the joy I felt when I finally finished a piece that I was working on for months!

Piano was a Lighthouse for me in 2024 as I traversed all the challenges confronting me on my path. Songs that will forever be associated with specific times in my life which nearly swallowed me whole, but I persevered!

I wish to continue playing the piano! To not lose what I learned since January 2024. I know the basics. I am proficient enough to call myself an amateur pianist. I have a handful of songs in my repertoire and I'll forever cherish them!

I practiced the piano today after a bit of time away from the keys. I was so glad to learn that I didn't forget how to play and the music came back to me easily after a few tries.

I know that I will continue to play the Piano. Lessons were such a gift and I am going to gift myself with the Blessings of Musical Instruments as I travel forward through New Doors and onto New Pathways.
