The Experimental Nature of Mediumship and the instances when a loved one did not come through during a reading.
Let me tell you right off the bat...I feel terrible when a loved one in Spirit does not come in for a client. The Star Person in Spirit that a client wishes to connect with and the client is upset that the Star Person, the reason why the client scheduled a reading, decides to not join.
I will never make anything up. I only report the orchestration of impressions that I receive. I can try to connect with a specific Spirit, but it is up to the Spirit to join the session. It would be a great disservice to my client and the Spirit World if I were to just "randomly generate" details out of a thin air to make it seem like XYZ Star Person joined a session.
Remember that true, genuine mediums are doing this work because of their Healthy Logic Mind recognizing patterns and that they are anchored in their Heart. They want to help people using their skills. They aren't going to lie to a client even if the entire world thinks that they are lying at all times.
Real mediums are honest (hopefully/most of the time) and they will inform a client when the attempts to reach the Star Person has failed. This is just an aspect of Mediumship.
I don't know the cause of this. I have Theories. Remember that I have many more theories than I do answers.
Could it be that the client is still too much in their grieving journey to accept that the loved one is not longer encased in physical body? Would the Spirit joining the session do more harm?
Does the Spirit find that the energy required to join a session is too much for the Spirit especially if the Spirit is new to playing the mediumistic instrument?
Is the energetics between the medium, the client, and Spirit not "wired optimally" for the Star Person to join?
Does the Star Person just not like the medium and decides to not stream through the medium's energy system?
Is the Star Person off doing something else?
I really...just do not know.
We have our limited Human Mind and trying to Intellectually maneuver the landscape of theories may actually hinder our spiritual progression because true spirituality is not just an intellectual process.
Sometimes...the Star Person just doesn't come through during a reading. Any medium declaring that he/she can absolutely 100% connect to XYZ spirit all of the time (along with being 100% correct all of the time) is just plainly lying.
Now! Most of the time...the Star Person does join the session. But in rare occasions...the Star Person does not.
Scheduling a session with a medium requires that the client is aware of the process and ensures that he/she has the accurate perceptions aligned with the reality of the craft so he/she can get the most out of a reading.
Mediumship is experimental. It isn't something like a mathematical formula or a computerized transcript or a computer program.
Genuine mediums will always be honest and believe me when I say that mediums are very sensative people and do feel bad when the Star Person does not come through. However, mediums recognize that this is an aspect of the work.
Honesty is the best policy.
