The Healing potential stored within musical instruments and the instruments' assistance with alleviating anxiety. My favorite instrument of all time, no surprise, the Piano!

Yesterday, I constructed my homemade monthly piano practice calendar. A simple 123 where I record each piece I practiced for the day, the time for each piece, and then the overall time. I strive to practice 5 days a week for 30 minutes each of those days. I generally maintain that schedule unless a lot of life happens and I'm booked up for readings. As I've written about many many times...I love playing the piano! Started lessons on 1/4/24 and it is the best investment.
Anxiety. What is it? Well, I'm not fully sure. I think this term is a label for various sorts of experiences within the Mind/Body/Spirit Complex. I'm not a doctor nor mental health professional so take that as it may. (I'm not your doctor. I'm not your lawyer. I'm your psychic.) Anxiety could obviously be a reaction to thought-emotion-patterns which birth worries and negative perceptions about the future and/or what we can't control. I also found that sometimes the experience of "Anxiety" could be our Energy Field greeting energies of others outside the bounds of Physicality.
Then there's also our ability to almost alchemize "Anxiety" by framing it differently. Am I axious about XYZ or excited about XYZ? Am I curious about the future and is that what is driving me?
But to discern between the differences can be difficult. I would need years of documentation and trial & error to come to a conclusion worthy of writing a meaningful piece and assessment. And probably a few degrees and letters after my name for anyone to take me seriously since the world and most folks perceive us genuine intuitives as crazy-pants.
Well! Yesterday, I was immersed in that which is titled Anxiety. I can usually do a pretty good job at discerning between the "types" of "Anxiety" which means I'm usually able to tell if I'm sensing non-physical energies or not. Yesterday's experience was more bound to worry.
Doing psychic and mediumistic work is difficult and I get very "Anxious" whenever I have an upcoming reading - more so with new clients. I've written about this in other entries so I won't bog this entry down with the XYZ, ABC, 123. However! I do realize that this "Anxiousness" is rooted in my Care for this work and my desire to do a good job. So maybe it is a good thing to actually care so much?
Anyhow. So! I was in the "Anxiety" all day yesterday. I was observing the thoughts and I was trying not to add any emotional and mental energy to the thoughts. I was just letting them pass my mind and I was fighting the habitual pull to add more similar thoughts and emotions.
I came home after work. I cleaned and went grocery shopping and then cooked my love and me our Monday dinner. Then! It was time to Practice the Piano. I constructed the March 2025 Piano Practice calendar and it was time to play the keys!
Almost instantly...almost magically...as soon as the sounds kissed my ears....as soon as the vibrations and frequencies of the piano graced my consciousness and energy field...I felt the "Anxiety" lessen and lessen and lessen.
Musical Instruments are perfect for us to re-calibrate. To tune ourselves into a more "Flow-State" and time and time again this is shown to me whenever I play the piano on a day where I am "off center".
I do have a Digital Piano (named Phoebe) so I'm sure an Acoustic Piano would be an even greater experience with a more impactful healing-like stream. But! I do what I can with what I have.
Unfortunately, I usually would also use an exercise routine to assist me with grounding down "Anxiousness", but I haven't been able to exercise due to XYZ which I am navigating through and will hopefully resume a healthy exercise routine soon.
So! Piano will and is the best Tool for me to help with "Anxiety".
I could only imagine what it would be like if I played the Cello!
So! Reader. If you made it to my little entry in my tiny tiny corner of the universe...do you battle the various meanings of Anxiety? Have you thought about learning a Musical Instrument?
It'll take work and some time for you to reach a level where you can play a song through, but once you hit that sweet spot where your time/dedication/practice translates into your musical playing...well...you will feel what I am talking about in this entry.
I recommend playing a Musical Instrument!
