NYC Mini College Reunion & Readings

Sunday morning, Memorial Day Weekend, and I'm nursing a hot cup of coffee as I gear into the day. I'm also nursing my feet as they recover from a day of walking around Manhattan with 9,228 steps logged into my phone. A mini college reunion with friends from that era of my life as we all celebrated one of our friend's birthday. Magic! And naturally, I gave a reading which I'll share some of that experience in this entry.

I felt inspired to write this entry now, but I was watching a few minutes of a Caroline Myss lecture that I "randomly" stumbled upon as I feel the caffeine kick into my system.

I'll have to return to this lecture since I found the little that I watched very enticing. How Artificial Intelligence will never be able to pray and the stupidity and arrogance of "scientists" trying to "put God into a test tube." Provocative and just the kind of language I like to hear!

Yes! So, I took the train into the city to arrive at Penn at 12:30pm then walked about twenty minutes or so to restaurant for our scheduled brunch. I'm glad that I brought my winter coat because it was chilly! Could you believe it? Memorial Day Weekend and I wore jeans, a cardigan, and my winter coat! Unbelievable.

I was the first one to arrive so I waited and people watched outside of the restaurant. I thought it was funny how I was the only one who was attending the brunch that did not live in the city and it was me who was the first one to arrive! Then I noticed another person get to the restaurant who I knew in passing while in college and a few times post-graduation. We caught up a bit and then the others found their way so it was then time to begin our brunch.

As I've written about before, I stopped consuming alcohol in April 2024. Not something I planned...it just happened. Not once did I feel judged nor attacked for having a "dry brunch". This is a testament to the friends from my college years who are still in my life! Additions and enhancements! I wouldn't be friends with them if they were to attack me and I also didn't judge them in return. Enjoy your drinks and I'll enjoy my coffee - a win win!

These friends have seen me in so many different iterations and eras of my life. They were with me during my monster years and we've all seen each other at our worst. The one thing that I hold onto from my college years is the great many laughs we all shared together! So many laughs!

Two of my friends brought their newish partners to the brunch. I finally got to meet them after hearing so much about them and they were both wonderful! A true pleasure to be in their energy fields!

As I've also written about in many other entries...I do not discuss my skills. I just don't. You would never expect me to be a psychic medium if you just saw me walking on the street or even in the company of others. However! Since my friends are aware of my skills and appreciate me for all that I am...naturally the two new partners heard about my particular skillset. I will absolutely discuss my skills in that type of setting and I did!

My friends' partners were inquisitive and respectful! It isn't everyday that you find yourself at a brunch with a psychic medium. I felt more than comfortable talking about my work and answering their questions! They also were asking really great questions so I was in my Sagittarius Midheaven Mode! I love talking about PSI Mechanics and I was just soaking this all in and responding joyfully.

So naturally, as I do with those who are close to me, I was more than happy to read for them! My one friend and her partner had to leave after the brunch was over to catch a train to Connecticut so I told her partner that she gets the family discount aka I will happily read her for free! I never charge friends, family, and partners.

We walked to another bar and we found ourselves at a place that was decorated in Harry Potter. The whole bar! Apparently they change up the decor to specific themes every so often so this was such a treat especially as I am fresh with memories from my Harry Potter Land trip in April. This was also the first time I went to bars without consuming alcohol! So different, but I still had the same amount of fun as if I was drinking.

This is when the first reading happened. I was talking to my friend who was also a fraternity brother of mine.

But! Before I go further, remember that I do not share intimate nor specific details from readings. Readings are confidential. That's how it is so don't expect me to go into specifics.

I was chatting with him and I just felt impressions starting to pop in so I was like "XYZ...I'm picking up on ABC." He was validating the information that I shared with him. Also, remember my No Alcohol Policy? Well that is for professional readings, with friends/family...I don't care.

These impromptu readings with friends just gives me all the feelings and brings the joy back into my work! Especially when I know that I'm helping my friends using my unique skillset. It is like the charge I need to feel the passion lit up!

I actually was talking to Higher Mind on the train into the city. I felt like I'd do some readings so I just said to make the information be clear and easy to understand and to use me. I also was reading "The Crescent Moon Tearoom" so there's just a wink from synchronicity since that book is about three sisters who operate a tearoom where they serve tea and provide their clients with tea leaf readings.

After I finished up reading my friend, we were all just catching up and reminiscing on our college years. Then it was time to head over to another bar.

While walking to the next bar...I was drawn to my friend's partner that I just met. I told her that I'd give her a preview of a reading aka I'll happily read her sometime during my stay in NYC. She never had a reading before and I really was like her first exposure to this field.

I looked at her and I was immediately met with impressions! So I pulled her over and asked if she would like her "preview" as we walked to the next location. She said yes so I whipped out my phone to record what I was saying.

I gave her my opening speech (a bit shorter than normal) and then the information flowed. She was able to comprehend the "Board Game's Manual" and she understood her role and my role very easily. We walked for like 20 minutes, we finished the reading, and then I sent her the voice recording so she could review the information she could not validate. And! Remember that the information she could not validate were complimented by information she could validate. Many more "yes" responses to the "I'm not sure / "I don't know". This mini-reading met my standards and I was content and so was she.

I left the bar after we got there since I wanted to take a 7 o'clock train home. I said my farewells and it was just such a nice treat to be with those who appreciate me and I appreciate them. And both of my friends' partners were lovely so I can't wait to get to know them better.

Even though NYC isn't that far away from where I live...it feels like a long journey! 30 minutes to the train station. 1.5 hours of a train ride. Then 20 minutes of walking to the location. Then 1.5 hours of a train ride home followed by another 30 minutes to drive back to my apartment.

I'll always have a special place in my heart for the city.

Another wink from synchronicity occurred when I was driving home. I like to listen to the Girls Next Level podcast and I decided to finish listening to an episode. Well! Within 5 minutes of returning to the episode one of the hosts describe her encounter with a psychic that provided her with genuine information and predictions that manifested in her experience. I thought that was definitely a sign from Higher Mind especially with how I felt inspired to finish that episode and how I resumed the episode right when the psychic story was said.

Yesterday was just a day feeling so content, happy, and warm! Reuniting with people I love and then feeling like I helped them in a way that which I do best.
