Psychic Networks & Hotlines

I'm typing away on this entry after watching an episode of 'The Dark Side of the 90s'. My love wanted to watch the infomercial episode and I was on board! Well..naturally...the episode led to discussing the many Psychic Networks which popped up on the infomercial scene.

Let me be clear...any sort of online psychic network businesses are a waste of time just like what I've come to learn about most psychic fairs and restaurant psychic events. I did my fair share of operating the psychic fair circuit and doing restaurant psychic events which I wrote about already. You may find an authentic psychic at a fair or a restaurant event...but the likelihood is extremely low. I never worked on a psychic hotline so I can't speak about those, but I can assume that psychic networks are lackluster.

I admit that I was heavily triggered while watching this episode. I wasn't triggered due to me feeling like I'm scamming people or lying to people. Absolutely not. I sleep very well, I'm able to face myself in the mirror, and I know my experiences and my skills. I can "Face God" as some say. I was triggered because of what the "Psychic Industry" was in the past and what it is currently now. One of my favorite podcasts actually sponsors a psychic network and I just...let's say I skip the ads.

Taking advantage of people who are hurting, grieving, looking for guidance, and wanting answers is a disgrace to humanity. I cannot help what others do. I can only focus on what I'm doing and how I help people. It is disgusting and some could even phrase that it is "doing the Devil's work".

What upset me about watching this episode was how people could view me as one of those "psychics" who would do the harm that those types of businesses did and do regularly.

There's nothing I could say that would convince a cynical, unhealthy skeptic that I'm exercising real PSI skills. Nothing. Even my very best of readings couldn't. When the mind is made up then there's nothing that could change it despite the evidence. This isn't just about the psychic-sphere...it can be applied to anything.

Criticisms by cynics/skeptics emerge concerning questions being asked during readings. Well, I also understand that. However, when you acquire the knowledge about PSI functioning especially the various methods intuitive information funnels through the various extrasensory senses then it would make sense. Obviously, the clear-knowing is just straight up knowledge received by energetic data, but a question would follow the sharing of this type of information such as "does this make sense? do you understand? and I'm right by saying what I'm receiving?" Then there's the clear-seeing and clear-hearing which are hyper-focused clues reflecting back to a person what is in the person's conscious awareness or is unknown.

Information doesn't make sense to me, most things I see do not have time stamps, and so much more to PSI Mechanics which I learned through my direct experiences. The primary reason I continue doing this work is due to the Post-Reading Validations. Unknown information delivered to a client which was revealed to the client in his/her experience post-reading. This is also why I document my readings and transcribe them so I can learn more.

This episode just reminded me of our world and it even somewhat justifies my anger towards the horrendous portrayal of PSI in the past and in our modern day experience.

Basically, do not use psychic networks or hotlines. Any real practitioner has his or her own practice. Paying per minute is atrocious. Authentic psychics and mediums structures their practice very similar to any other profession such as counselors, lawyers, and the like.

I know that someone could stumble across my website and my blog and automatically declare me as a fraud, as a con-artist, as a person harming others through lies and manipulation. I can't do anything about that. I also understand why they would think that considering the theatrics and misperceptions and ignorance.

I think I also keep a low-profile and that I have no interest in "public recognition" is to protect myself from people, who do not know me, wanting to attack my work and my character. I have a right to establish healthy boundaries and a healthy boundary of mine is to keep myself out of situations where there is a possibility of me being harmed.

I can see why I was led to watch this episode. To see another perspective on those who view the type of work that I do. To see the harm that the predators have done to those requesting psychic information.

The 90s psychic networks and hotlines never went away. It just changed form into what it is in our present-day lives.

I'm just going to keep my head down, do my work, help people using my skills, and continue to sleep soundly knowing I'm doing a great service.
