Yes. My days on YouTube are now behind me as I followed a breadcrumb from Higher Mind to stop recording and uploading public videos to YouTube.
My journey on YouTube started back in Spring/Summer of 2021. I was inspired to record videos detailing the mechanics of Psychic and Mediumistic skills. PSI Mechanics, Stories from Readings, and Forecasts.
It felt like "the thing to do". It felt like an "obligation" which I did find quite fun and this led me through many different iterations on YouTube. I initially recorded myself on camera up until 2024/2025. I was inspired to create 'The Light Wizards Bazaar' podcast which involved recording my Raw Mediumship Demonstrations & Decodings. This eventually transformed into another podcast called "Station 8:17", which also fell to my lack of desire to be in media.
There were many benefits to doing a YouTube channel though! It helped me strengthen my communication skills. I learned to speak without pausing and to use as little "ums" "you knows" and the like as I could. Many of the recordings also showed me how knowledgable I was (and am) regarding my skills!
But...you know...I just don't want to be in media. My personal YouTube viewing has greatly diminished in 2025. I find that maybe...1 out of 100 creators that I see actually bring me value. The rest of the YouTube world is just too much of the same while also using the same recording techniques and the endless amounts of Click Bait titles and the sea of need for validation. I'm just over it.
The TOOL of YouTube is absolutely excellent though! Many of my videos are placed all throughout my website especially my Psychic Development Circle. The videos are just no longer public to my YouTube page.
The Tool of YouTube is perfect for storing/uploading presentations and it makes using videos on my website much easier than directly uploading the videos to my website builder.
I feel a Return to Form. I learned what I needed to from YouTube: the good, the bad, and the ugly. I feel like when I started my practice back in 2018. 2018 version of me barely watched any YouTube videos. I wasn't "hooked into" YouTube until 2018 neared its end.
Well...the app is deleted from my phone so I now only open up YouTube in my phone's internet browser when there is something specific I want to find. And no more Shorts! No more endless, mindless flipping through Shorts.
It is almost like a retrieval of my consciousness, my precious time, and my attention. And I am loving it!
I still have my Newsletter to reach those who wish to keep up with what I'm doing and to provide whatever insights I can to my audience. I find writing to be much fun and I do not use any sort of AI in my writing. Writing absolutely does use the Psychic Art Mind and typing on a keyboard feels just as good as when I play the keys on my digital piano.
So long and farewell, YouTube!
The next journey is here in 2025!
