My love and I’s Summer 2025 concerts at Jones Beach has come to a mighty conclusion with last night’s concert featuring The Goo Goo Dolls!

What a show! Dashboard Confessionals also gave a fantastic performance!
There’s something about being in a space with thousands of people. All our of energy streams swirling around a venue and the artists. I live a pretty insular life so whenever I’m around this many people…what a rush! I was transported back to my middle and high school days which has been pretty regular considering the list of concerts we’ve been too over the last two years.
Last night’s show reminded me of humans and our connectivity. Our electric nature as exemplified by the instruments jamming to the the artists’ intentions. It is like all of our points of awareness are strung together like an electric guitar’s strings. Just give me all of the live playing! No auto-tune. No lip-synching. No “artist” on stage just jumping around and pressing a button on a board. No holograms. Just People.
I always just snap one picture at a venue and then keep my phone tucked away in my pocket. It was refreshing to see that the majority of people attending the last two years of concerts with us also weren’t just on their phones recording everything. A reminder that humans are innately wired to be in-real-life and we are rejecting the adverse “machine” forces on some degree/level.
The Goo Goo Dolls put on an excellent show. My god. Even just seeing their smiles made the concert more enjoyable.
I always say that Music is like PSI.
I do even want to note that I ran into a client of mine while food shopping prior to leaving to the concert. It’s rare that I run into clients out and about in the real world since most of mine are not from my area or even on Long Island. I think this was a synchronistic wink from Higher Mind especially as our conversation tuned to some of what I’ve been journaling about during my personal intuiting. That Electric Connection!
A reflection on humanity…our innate connection…our electric nature…music.
Next up…Lady Gaga in September!
