Volunteer Demonstrations Are Back!

Yesterday, Higher Mind inspired me to get back into offering Demonstrations once again over Zoom. This is my form of Volunteering.

Throughout 2024 (and also a few times in earlier years), I would offer free group mediumship readings on my website. Why? I have this desire to offer my time and my skills to help people who are unable to afford private readings. I get it. We all have varying states of our finances and scheduling a reading may not fit one's current budget.

I enjoy giving back to people and I tried many times to find opportunities for me to volunteer. I tried X, I tried Y, and I tried Z. But...X Y Z did not work out so I take this as Life redirecting me to create my own volunteer opportunities.

Donating 1 to 2 hours of my time every so often is nothing. I live a pretty quiet life and to combat boredom...I want to read! PSYCHISM was first a hobby that I translated into a practice.

Selfishly...I do these volunteer demonstrations for the Documentation and for the Data. I love love love holding onto each reading's recording on my external harddrive. I started to record my readings back in 2021? 2020? 2019? I can't quite remember. I used to go into my car to read people over the phone. This was when I still lived at my dad's house and I wanted to be in a quiet space. I'd use my iPod Touch and record my voice while I was on the phone.

Transcripts...Recordings...Documentation...Data! I do print out the transcripts, but not as often as I'd like since each reading is many pages so the printer ink runs out quickly. One day I'll send the transcripts to Staples and create a spiral notebook or something. My Library.

Doing Demonstrations over Zoom is quite simple. I greet everyone and then just start with my opening speech. Then we see where Spirit leads us.

I continue to do this work because 1 + 1 = 2. I use that equation as a reminder to me that if I intend to read then I will start to sense. The documentation is what keeps me going!

I do have free time that I'd rather spend doing something good in the world. I thought about volunteering at various organizations on Long Island, but I felt like I could serve the world better by sharing my psychic and mediumistic skills.

Doing these Demonstrations over Zoom is a real treat for me! All the participants get to experience mediumship and witness Spirit making connections. I wish I could gurantee that everyone would get a reading, but Spirit rules the show. I'm essentially inviting the participants into my home which is why I require video to be on. Would you invite a faceless person into your home? Nah.

Helping people with my skills and opportunities for me to record new data are what keeps me doing this work especially with volunteering. I love to read and I love to have the documentation of my skills. So! Having these free events are a win-win for me and the participants.

2024 was a whirlwind year. Many challenges and losses which made me have to cancel some of the events. But! Now I'm recharged, recovered, and read to volunteer again!
