What I Experience During Readings

Another morning and another entry inspired by the Muse! This morning's walk was all about grooving to Tove Lo which I forgot I had her music! Bringing me back to the days of working at Olive Garden as a Bartender. Days which really taught me that I never want to bartend again nor do I ever want to work around drunk people hence my No Alcohol Policy for group readings (and every service I offer). What a throwback.

I was inspired to write multiple entries so I wonder which one will come forth through my fingertips? Hmm...

I feel like I writing about what I experience during a Reading. I definitely touched upon this on The Experience page as well as other entries. I'll keep it straight to the point and for this to be easy to digest.

Let me start off by saying that you will know when you're being read by an authentic practitioner. The reader will be focused on the impressions bombarding his/her Mind Tool and Psychic System. They'll often stare away from you in-person and even on a video call. Their primary purpose is to report the impressions as they come in and to not judge them - to just receive and relay. You'll observe them squinting their eyes at visions they receive and try to formulate words to effectively relay what they receive through their interpretations.

Now! Obviously, this can be mimicked by fakes. Duh. A con-artist knows how to be perceived to fool clients amongst other tricks. However, the real, authentic reader will constantly be bombarded throughout the reading with impressions even as you validate the information. I often find myself interrupting clients (respectfully) because I do not want to lose what I receive while clients are validating information.

So...what do I experience during a reading?

Honestly...it is an overload of thoughts that I do not manufacture. These thoughts do not originate from me and my conscious mind. I'll see visions through Symbolic Imagery and Literal Imagery. I will see letters, names, numbers, dates. I will see landscapes. I will see Hyper-Focused Clues which are segments of a total landscape. Think of it like when you recall a memory or a dream. You'll find yourself recalling specifics, but not the total landscape (usually). I mostly receive information through the Sight, but I also experience other types of information using the other senses.

I'll feel things. I can feel emotions. I can feel physical ailments or even impacts on the body. I can feel aspects of my body which are "highlighted". I can feel "Time" meaning I may be pushed to the left to indicate the past or pushed to the right to indicate the potential future. This happens in both psychic and mediumistic readings.

Remember that psychic and mediumistic readings use the same Psychic Toolkit/Senses. The only difference is where the information originates.

I can simple just know things. There's no thought. There's nothing except just Knowing.

I can also hear things. I could hear words, fragments of names and sentences, numbers, and more! When I hear something...it is the same as when you read a book. You hear yourself reading. You know what I mean? This "hearing" comes through my own inner voice so its not like some disembodied voice that is "out of me". No no no.

Smell things. Taste things.

I experience an Orchestration of Impressions. It really is like Music. A Concert is happening within my Psychic System. I do not control the impressions. I do not pick and choose how I receive information. Information will flow through the sense or multiple senses that is the quickest and easiest for the information to be received by my system.

Now with mediumship, I feel a Presence. I feel an energy outside of me and behind me. Like I said in other entries, it is like when your eyes are closed and you're in a room by yourself then someone enters and you just somehow notice another person has joined you. During the Introductory Linking Phase, I'll get the initial details of a spirit. Male or Female. A range of how old the spirit was when they left physicality. Obviously, every reading is different, but usually it is the sex of the person, age when they left Earth, and then whatever else the spirit gives me to identify. I intend to read and then the impressions flow. It just happens. It is Reflexive. I try to think about this whole process, but it does my head in! So I just am comfortable with saying that the skills are like when you are typing on a keyboard. You're not saying to yourself "fingers type!". You just do it.

Readings really are exhausting with mediumship being the most exhausting of them all. No way can I read 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and then expect to give every client a quality service that is up to my standards. This is why my schedule is set up how it is.

I think that pretty much sums it all up!
