X-Men & Precognition

My travels through the Libby app led me to reading X-Men graphic novels and this reignited my love for X-Men especially in their depictions, illustrations, and their lore regarding PSI and Precognition. I always preferred X-Men as my number one superhero anything hence why I have many references of X-Men throughout my blog. Professor Xavier…Jean Grey…Emma Frost…Destiny. I cannot get enough of it! Plus, I decided to shave my head even shorter since the wheels of time kissed my genetics so I’m looking even more like Professor X!

Throughout my website, I emphasize the need to clearly distinct PSI and the Intuitive Instrument away from forms of Mysticism and “Spirituality”. This is because I view PSI skills as a part of the human’s abilities without requiring “belief” in these skills to become real. PSI is just real and does not require belief like how you don’t need to believe in Biology. It just is. Also, Mysticism is a different subject and “Spirituality” has just become an abused word and all the tackiness and lackluster-ness that comes with the millions of YouTube videos, social media posts, and all that meaningless consumption of uselessness.

I also state on my website that I am not a Telepath…I’m not reading my clients’ minds. I am connecting to information, energetic data, and consciousness that left the physical body after bodily death. These fields of information stream and filter through my Mind Tool and my Intuitive Instrument rather than forming a mind-to-mind connection with a client. This is evident by me receiving information that my client cannot validate during the session…meaning that the information will require research, my client could be caught in a spell of forgetfulness, or the information has yet to be revealed to my client. I’m not Professor Xavier, Jean Grey, nor Emma Frost.

Destiny. What a great character in X-Men. I recall stumbling upon comic clippings depicting Destiny and her work. I even reviewed the marvel wiki this morning and read more on Destiny and X-Men Universe’s depiction of Precognition.

This is the marvel wiki’s description of Destiny’s Precognitive abilities:

  • Precognition: Destiny possesses the psionic power of precognition: the ability to perceive in her mind's eye the events of possible futures. Although she was blind, Destiny could mentally scan the probability spectrum of alternate futures and mentally perceive the sounds and sights of events that distinguished them. By concentrating she could focus on only the most probable alternate futures. The accuracy of Destiny’s ability to foresee future events decreased in direct proportion to the number of alternate futures to scan. She could comfortably scan the alternate futures that existed from one second away up until those that existed fifteen minutes away. Hence, she could be 97% accurate in her predictions of the future ten seconds away or less. Despite the limited extent to her certainty, her long-range scanning could be of great use in the early detection of possible random factors that could disrupt her to her partners’ plans. The more likely that a particular alternate future would manifest itself in her reality, the clearer and more distinct her mental impression of it would be. Less likely alternate futures would appear hazy and indistinct. For example, when she, Mystique and the Brotherhood tried to assassinate Robert Kelly, she saw a future where mutants were feared and respected, but apparently ignored the vision where murder would result in a future with mutants being hunted down and exterminated by the Sentinels. If she left her precognitive perceptions fully open, she would "see" an overlapping succession of images drift in and out of focus as probabilities shifted and further elements transpired. By active participation in the events around her, she could help shift the probabilities toward desired ends. Her personal phenomenal field, that area with which she could not scan the future for events that might take place on the other side of the world or even a mile away.

Her precognitive abilities are somewhat fantastical because this is a comic book…however, there are very real aspects of PSI that relate to our reality’s PSI.

I learned that future predictions are influenced by the choices a client makes following a session as well as the choices others make in the world. Not every prediction comes to fruition. Also, sometimes I do not get a Knowing or a Feeling that I am making a prediction since I just receive information that is unknown to a client and then a client validates that XYZ unknown information manifested in his/her life via ABC.

My Energy Forecasts usually extend 6 months out from a reading. I find that I am more accurate in this duration of time. The further out…the more a client is subjected by Life and Choices which diffuse the E.F.

There are many different paths, but sometimes I just know XYZ will happen or I receive a series of unknown information and these all manifest in a client’s experience. (My ears are ringing very loudly right now. Strange!). I guess you could say that these points, these fields of information, anchor into a client’s experience and may be even called “Points of Fate”. I don’t have all the answers. I only have theories based upon years of reading for clients, friends, and family.

X-Men is clearly a work of Fiction, but I do see how Synchronicity uses this medium as points of reflection for me to contemplate and to extract similarities to my experiences exercising my Intuitive Muscle. I am very grounded in my work and in my skills which really make me become incredibly cognizant in the exaggeration and misperceptions regarding PSI that parades the internet.

The more you understand the reality of PSI and to align your perceptions and expectations with the reality of your Intuitive Instrument then the more you can actually integrate PSI into your life.

I’m not just a psychic and medium in terms of a vocation. This is something that is integrated and expressed in my everyday life. It is not fantastical. It just is.
