A New Chapter | 34, Cyndi, & Joni

Summer 2025 concert series has begun with yesterday’s trip to Jones Beach to see Cyndi Lauper!

My love and I saw three concerts last year at Jones Beach: Alanis Morissette, Third Eye Blind, & Avril Lavigne. Their openers brought us into the energy field of Joan Jett, Yellowcard, & Simple Plan. They were all fantastic and made Summer 2024 something to remember.

Cyndi was a gem. I loved the stories she shared with the audience, her singing was excellent, and I was happy to attend her show considering it may have been the last opportunity to see her perform live in-person. ‘Time After Time’ was the jewel I wanted to see live and I’ll forever keep the experience tucked away in my treasure chest of memories.

I thought it was poignant how Cyndi discussed the Chapters of our lives. The ups and downs, the ebb and flow. I thought this was a synchronistic wink from Higher Mind as I feel like I am entering into a new Chapter.

This morning, I woke up super late for me (9am) and I made a pot of Sumatra (my favorite coffee) to get me to the gym. Since it’s been over 70 days when I returned to a plant-based diet…I feel wonderful! I’m losing fat at a healthy rate, I’m so much less bloated and inflamed, and I am feeling/looking great! I’ll never stop saying all the praises I have for a plant-based diet. 90% of the time I am Whole Foods plant-based, and the other 10% involves more less healthy plant-based choices.

34th Birthday and a new Chapter.

I wrote about how I was gifted a handful of books authored by Joni Patry. Today has been a day of rest and diving into Joni’s book titled ‘Secrets of Prediction’. Naturally…another synchronistic wink from Higher Mind kissed me when I started to read this book.

I very much enjoy reading about the journey which led authentic practitioners of the Sacred Intuitive Arts to their respective craft. How Higher Mind orchestrated the XYZ and the practitioners choosing to act on the Breadcrumbs.

I also find it extremely validating to read their grievances and calling out those who destroy the potential for this work to reach the population. Joni described her run-ins with people who denounce her, attack her, and belittle her intelligence when she shared that she was an astrologer. She also emphasizes how you cannot reach anyone with a severely closed mind. But, she never gave up and continued to honor herself, her interests, her passion, and her skills which are all something I greatly admire!
